Hydrogen/helium ratio in starsThe ratio of hydrogen-to-helium in main sequence B stars is analyzed. An attempt was made to match each observed neutral helium profile with a theoretically calculated profile. Observational results show an overall average of helium-to-hydrogen is roughly between 10% and 11% by number of atoms. Detailed results of each star examined are given in graphs. Theoretical and calculated results are in reasonable agreement.
