Cryogenic flow control components for rocket propulsion systemsThe design of cryogenic flow control components, specifically the prevalve, for the Saturn 5 vehicle is discussed. Design systems are assessed and component requirements revealed significant improvements in mass flow rate, temperature, and pressure.
