Dynamics of the solar photosphereCurrent knowledge of photospheric velocity fields is summarized. A model of the solar atmosphere is described along with the methods used in solar velocity field observations. The inferences drawn from integrated Sun observations, the velocity fields of the quiet Sun, sunspots, and other magnetic structures are discussed.
