LORAN-C prediction problemsControl of time and frequency at remote stations and the maintenance of a constant time scale for LORAN-C chains are problems of practical importance. The stability of stations monitoring a LORAN-C chain is analyzed, in particular, those stations monitoring the Northwest Pacific chain. Individual determinations of the quantity, U.S. Naval Observatory Master lock are compared with an averaged value and monitored data.
