Considerations concerning future satellite experimentsAreas of research which would be particularly beneficial to the application of remote sensing to mineral exploration are suggested and discussed. These areas are (1) refinement of spectral data in the .4 to 2.5 micron region, (2) systematic research in spatial resolution, and (3) better data for geological structural studies.
