A preliminary human factors planning and design outline of parameters related to space station windows and CCTV monitoringThe question of the merits of placing windows on proposed future space stations is addressed. The use of windows for human visual capabilities is compared to using closed circuit television. Placement and field of view, as well as the number of windows is discussed.
