X-15 flight simulation studiesThis paper describes briefly the flight-simulation studies carried out on the X-15 since the 1956 conference, the capabilities of current simulations, and some of the significant results of these studies. The scope of these simulations has been expanded to cover the entire flight regime so that it is now possible to fly the entire mission from launch to landing approach.
