Goddard's New Approach to ITA general overview of the Information Systems Center (ISC) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center is presented. The background of the center, its reorganization, as well as the applied engineering and technology directorate and its organization are outlined. The ISC's mission and vision as well as a breakdown of the branch are reviewed. Finally, the role of the Software Engineering Laboratory (SEL) within the ISC is reported, it's short and long term goals, and current activities discussed.
