An Introduction and Overview of Interdisciplinary Nanoscience and NanotechnologyA viewgraph presentation gives an overview of interdisciplinary nanoscience and nanotechnology by answering the questions: (1) What are nanotechnology and bionanotechnology? (2) What are some key applications of bionanotechnology? (3) Why is if of particular importance to NASA? and (4) What are some key challenges to fulfilling the promise of nanotechnology? Nanotechnology is defined and the trends and potential for nanotechnology are described. An overview of nanoelectronic devices is given.
