Vibration-Resistant FastenerAn engineer at Philips Broadband Networks (PBN) tested the Spiralock thread based on information he found in NASA Tech Briefs. After testing the product, PBN began to use it in most of its products, eliminating an installation problem and reducing production costs. Spiralock, manufactured by Detroit Tool Industries, is a superfastener NASA tested for use in the Space Shuttle engines that resists great shock and vibration.
