Development of an oxygen impact-testing methodThe development of a gaseous oxygen impact test method to aid in the selection of materials for high pressure oxygen systems is discussed. The objectives of the tests and the test equipment used are described. It is concluded that the impact test procedures are adequate for present purposes, but cannot be depended upon for establishing future standards.
