A theory of scattering from irregularities in a magneto-ionic medium.Attempt to determine what effect the anisotropy of the background medium will have on the scattering of electromagnetic waves from ionospheric irregularities. A Green's function is used to solve the scattered power using a certain bistatic geometry. Since the medium is anisotropic, cross-mode scattering in addition to self-mode scattering is possible. Several examples are given.
