Research trends in turbine aerodynamics.Brief description of some of the recent trends in turbine aerodynamics research. Areas covered include cooled turbine aerodynamics, high work-factor turbines, pneumatic variable geometry, and computer analysis. Most of this research is shown to have been directed primarily toward allowing the turbine to accept efficiently higher inlet temperatures and blade loading.
