Alleged Mercury Discharge by the Lewis Research CenterWater sample analysis, site visits, and effluent reports are examined in an attempt to identify the sources contributing to mercury pollution of the Great Lakes. Two sources were identified, Lewis Research Center and Dow Chemical of Canada. Tests were made during a period from April to September 1970.
