Indium. The abundances of indium in the cosmos, meteorites, and tektites, in rock-forming and ore minerals, and in common igneous rocks are tabulated, with brief comments. Indium's behavior in magmatogenic processes and during weathering and alteration of rocks is described. Attention is given to solubilities of compounds, adsorption processes, and valence states. Also tabulated are the abundances in common sediments and in sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
