Transient forced convection heat transfer from an isothermal flat plate.An analysis is presented for laminar transient forced-convection heat transfer from a horizontal flat plate. The presented analysis results include transient velocity and temperature profiles, boundary-layer growth rate, and heat-transfer rate with time.
