The Clark Lake array.A fully steerable array of 720 conical log spiral antennas nearing completion in southern California is described. It is capable of operation at any frequency between 15 and 130 MHz an instantaneous bandwidth of 3 MHz. The array is a pencil-beam instrument with a beam width proportional to the wavelength; it varies from 3 to 27 feet across the frequency range. It will soon be available for both solar and sidereal studies.
