A1 moonquakes - Problems of determining their epicenters and mechanismsReview of some of the problems associated with the determination of epicenters and mechanisms of moonquakes with the aid of the four seismic stations now operating on the moon. No decoupling of compressional, transverse, and surface waves takes place there, no clear first arrivals can be found, and coherence between vertical and horizontal components on a seismograph stationed on the moon is poor. New techniques for locating epicenters are presented.
