Histological analysis of tissue structures of the internal organs of steppe tortoises following their exposure to spaceflight conditions while circumnavigating the moon aboard the Zond-7 automatic stationTortoises flown around the Moon on the 6-1/2 day voyage of the Zond-7 automatic space station evidently did not suffer any pathological changes to their peripheral blood picture, heart, lungs, intestines, or liver.
