Comments on the quiet sun brightness distribution at 1.2 mm wavelengthData on the center-to-limb brightness distribution of the quiet sun at 1.2-mm wavelength are reanalyzed. The observed brightness distribution at this wavelength is plotted along the equatorial direction and analyzed to determine whether it is uniform, limb-brightened, or limb-darkened. It is concluded that at the present time, there is no evidence for a uniform or limb-brightened distribution at 1.2 mm from either an observational or theoretical point of view.
