Transonic flow about airfoilsProgram analyzes airfoils that permit transonic flow for subsonic free-stream mach numbers. Transonic refers to aircraft speeds less than speed of sound, but close enough so that top of wing, where airflow is fastest, mach number becomes greater than 1. Program should aid design phase of new airfoil and in analysis of existing airfoils.
