The relationship of surface chemistry and albedo of lunar soil samplesA relation between the albedo and the surface iron concentration (determined by Auger electron spectroscopy) of lunar soil samples is described. The effect of solar wind sputtering on the surface chemistry and albedo of the soil is discussed.
