A rain cell modelSummer raincells in a marine temperate climate were monitored using radar, and the probability of raincell occurrence was described as a function of altitude, rain intensity and cell size. The study aimed at defining a cell model for communications engineers concerned with precipitation-induced interference or signal attenuation.
