Tire-pressure measuring conceptExternal tire-pressure measuring concept involves device that applies external load to tire wall to measure its internal pressure. Method promises to be faster than conventional tire-pressure checks, speeding up turnaround time for aircraft. Method prevents air leakage that occurs when pressure is measured through tire valve. Device is used to measure tire pressures on land vehicles.
