Computation of cofactors of /sI-A/ with applicationsAn alternate approach for computing the determinant and the cofactors of the (sI-A) matrices is presented along with a numerical code for implementing this method with the aid of transforming a matrix to phase variable canonical form. Danilevskii's method was routinely used in this capacity for systems up to 26th order and it appears that this technique is also applicable to much higher order systems.
