Towards fault-tolerant optimal controlThe paper considers the design of fault-tolerant controllers that may endow systems with dynamic reliability. Results for jump linear quadratic Gaussian control problems are extended to include random jump costs, trajectory discontinuities, and a simple case of non-Markovian mode transitions.
