QCSEE UTW engine powered-lift acoustic performancePowered-lift acoustic tests of a quiet clean short-haul experimental engine (QCSEE) under-the-wing (UTW) engine are described. Engine and wing configurations are outlined, along with instrumentation and test facilities. The results of these tests are reported. In addition, the UTW engine powered-lift performance is compared with that of the previously tested QCSEE over-the-wing (OTW) engine.
