Assessment of chamber pressure oscillations in the Shuttle SRBCombustion stability evaluations of the Shuttle solid propellant booster motor are reviewed. Measurement of the amplitude and frequency of low level chamber pressure oscillations which have been detected in motor firings, are discussed and a statistical analysis of the data is presented. Oscillatory data from three recent motor firings are shown and the results are compared with statistical predictions which are based on earlier motor firings.
