Pressure Transducer Has Long Service LifeDifferential-pressure transducer includes a piston, helical springs, and a linear variable-differential transformer concentric with piston. Transducer senses motion of piston in response to changes in pressure differential. Eight seals within the transducer prevent fluid leakage from one pressure line to the other. Reliability and operating life of the new unit are superior to many conventional transducers.
