Combustion toxicology of epoxy/carbon fiber compositesA combustion toxicology test was developed to screen materials for aerospace applications. The system is called the radiant panel test facility. A description of the facility and some preliminary results from tests on a Navy 3501-6AS composite, a typical composite for fighter aircraft, are presented.
