Evidence for changes in the microwave brightness temperature and spectrum of UranusA new measurement of the microwave brightness temperature of Uranus at 13.1 cm wavelength yields an effective disk temperature of 255 + or - 18 K. Comparison with earlier measurements at nearby wavelengths reveals a doubling in brightness temperature in 14 yr. Observations at shorter wavelengths show significant changes in the shape of the microwave spectrum of the planet over the last decade.
