Far-ultraviolet diffuse galactic lightDiffuse galactic light is detected at very low galactic latitudes, and useful upper limits are obtained at moderate and high galactic latitudes. Together, these data indicate that the albedo of the interstellar grains is high (a greater than 0.5) and that the grains very strongly (g greater than 0.7) forward-scatter far-ultraviolet radiation.
