Preliminary characterization of persisting circadian rhythms during space flight: Neurospora as a model systemThe effects of the Spacelab environment on the circadian rhythms in microorganisms are investigated. Neurospora is chosen because of its well characterized circadian rhythm of growth. Growth rate, banding patterns, and circadian period and phase information are studied.
