Evidence for extended X-ray emission from globular clustersDeep exposures with the Einstein Observatory show evidence for diffuse X-ray emission from three globular clusters. One possible interpretation of these observations is that the interaction between a cluster wind and a hot gaseous galactic halo is being observed. The one cluster for which the proper motion has been measured is consistent with this interpretation.
