An analytical approach to photovoltaic encapsulation system designThis paper describes a set of analytical methods which have been developed to enable quantitative analysis of encapsulation system designs for terrestrial photovoltaic modules. Design factors determined most important include: encapsulant thickness and modules, emissivity of module surface, ribs on substrate modulus, and AR.
