Manned assembly of space structuresThis presentation will describe some results which have been obtained and the experiments which have been conducted in the Marshall Space Flight Center's Neutral Buoyancy Facility (MSFC NBF). The MSFC NBF is a tank of water 40 feet deep and 70 feet in diameter. Presently there is a mockup of the Orbiter payload bay at the bottom. There also is a Remote Manipulator System at the edge of the tank.
