Predicting Polymer/Liquide InteractionsCalculations of liquid absorption by rubber vulcanizates agree with experimental results. Equation allows calculation of swelling of rubber vulcanizates by liquids, based on knowledge of chemical structure of polymer and solvent. Calculated values agree favorably with experimental data.
