Space shuttle descent flight control design requirements and experiments Learned, Pt. 1 p 617-628Some of the lessons learned during the development of the Space Shuttle descent flight control system (FCS) are reviewed. Examples confirm the importance for requirements definition, systems level analyses, and testing.
