Interactive geometry modeling of space station conceptual designsWith the advent of a serious interest in the design and implementaton of a low-Earth orbit, manned space station, the need has arisen to rapidly synthesize, characterize, and analyze many conceptual designs. Because the manual generation and analysis of a mathematical design model could consume many man-months, an interactive modeling and analysis capability is sought. This poster session will demonstrate the activities and current capabilities at NASA LaRC that could support the modeling analysis of space station conceptual designs.
