Coastal bathymetry and currents from LANDSAT dataLANDSAT scenes of coastal areas should be useful for bathymetry and for mapping sediment flow if scatter from bottom and suspended matter can be separated by multi-date analysis. Several filter algorithms have been developed to reduce both artifacts and random noise while retaining meaningful structures such as breakwaters and underwater reefs. Results of application of these filters to LANDSAT scenes of the Israeli coast are presented.
