Convex Interpolating Splines of Arbitrary DegreeShape preserving approximations are constructed by interpolating the data with polynomial splines of arbitrary degree. A regularity condition is formulated on the data which insures the existence of such a shape preserving spline, an algorithm is presented for its construction, and the uniform norm of the error is bound which results when the algorithm is used to produce an approximation to a given f epsilon Ca,b.
