Observation of a possible optical burst of the double star Beta CamelopardalisAn intensified SEC Vidicon observation of a brightening of the image of Beta Cam for a duration of about 0.25 sec at 0932 UT on December 4, 1969 is described. The observation was made during airborne observations of meteors over Canada between latitudes of 50 and 60 deg N.
