Dynamic stall progress in analysis and predictionA comprehensive review of research in dynamic stall is presented with applications for helicopters, fighter aircraft, and wind turbines illustrated and evaluated. Emphasis is placed on review of research contributing to better understanding of the dynamic stall mechanism, including influence of type of motion, Mach number, Reynolds number, and three-dimensional effects.
