Semiconductor Laser With Two-Dimensional Beam SteeringModification of monolithic semiconductor injection laser capable of one-dimensional electronic beam steering enables deflection of beam in second direction. Such laser chip provides beam pointing or raster scanning for applications in optical communications, data processing, image scanning, and optical ranging.
