Digital Control of Durability-Testing Burner RigsReport describes hardware and software that implement hybrid digital control of two Jet A-1 fueled, mach-0.3 burners from startup to completion of preset number of hot-corrosion/flame-durability cycle tests of materials at 1,652 degree F (900 degree C). Surface temperatures controlled more precisely than before.
