Energy-dependent parameterization of heavy-ion absorption cross sectionsAn energy-dependent parameterization of the total absorption (reaction) cross sections for heavy ion (Z equal to or greater than 2) collisions at energies above 25 MeV per nucleon is presented. The formula will be especially useful in heavy-ion transport applications.
