Semi-Interpenetrating Polymer NetworksDesirable qualities achieved by "networking" aromatic and addition polyimides. Novel semi-interpenetrating network (semi-ipn) prepared from two types of polyimides. Semi-ipn results when linear polymer synthesized in presence of cross-linked polymer or vice-versa. Semi-ipn attains certain properties better than those of either polymer alone.
