Nonlinear Coherence Function for Machinery DiagnosisVibration spectra analyzed for signs of trouble. Nonlinear coherence function assists in analysis of vibration spectra of machinery for signs of incipient failure. Useful primarily in determining whether apparent harmonic in complicated vibration signal indicates possible defect or if due to independent vibration source or extraneous noise.
