Microstrip dispersion including anisotropic substratesA perturbation-iteration solution based on potential theory is develoepd for determining the effective dielectric constant, characteristic impedance, and current-charge distribution on a microstrip transmission line with isotropic and anisotropic substrates. The numerical implementation of the theory is described and is suitable for use on a personal computer. Computed data for several common substrate materials are included.
