Early intense cratering: Effects on growth of earth's crustThe disrupting effects of early intense meteorite bombardment on Earth's protocrustal evolution is discussed. The author emphasized that one should not consider the Earth's impact history as a discrete phase separate from an early crust forming event, and also that the end of the impacts was not a singular event that destroyed all previously formed crust.
